John B. Henry II
Founder and CEO
John has led DryStone for more than two decades and is a noted leader in program business and portfolio transfers. Prior to creating the firm, he was CEO of Crop Genetics International and ran Clean Air Capital Market, an environmental investment bank. John holds degrees from Harvard College and Columbia Law School.

Cloyd Laporte III
Chief Operating Officer
Cloyd joined DryStone as COO in 2002, successfully deploying the claims resolution model. Previously, Cloyd practiced antitrust and commercial litigation law and led several tech start-ups. Cloyd holds degrees from Harvard College and Chicago Law School.

Gregory T. Doyle
President
Greg joined DryStone in 2018 and serves as President & CUO, executing DryStone’s $500m of MGA business. Greg has 40 years of insurance industry experience with a focus on program business. Greg has held senior executive roles at American Re, Guy Carpenter, BMS Group, CastlePoint and Rockhill. Greg holds a degree from Hamilton College.

Rick Weidman
Chief Program Officer
Rick joined DryStone in 2019 and successfully executes the MGA business as Chief Program Officer. Rick has managed programs at Clarendon, CastlePoint and Rockhill. Rick is a founding member of the Target Markets Program Administrators Association and holds degrees from Edinboro University, Eastern University and University of Pennsylvania.

Scott Marks
Chief Financial Officer
Scott joined DryStone in 2025. He is the CFO and Director of AI. Previously, Scott started his career at KPMG and then helped scale MGA American Team Managers and executed private equity sale. Scott holds a CPA license and degrees from Southern Methodist University.
